Whoooo! MANCHESTER CITY CHAMPIONS OF 2013-14!

Thanks to 'The Engineer'. 2nd title in 3 seasons. Pelligrini made it sure City played attacking audience-pleasing soccer all around. Score goals, defend at the back. Just 14 days on the top of the table and it was, when it mattered the most. The best moments of the season were the 4-1 and 3-0 victories over our Red neighbours, 3-1, 3-2 victories over Everton, 6-0, 5-1 victories over Spurs, 7-0 against Norwich, 6-3 over the Gunners, 6-0 over West Ham, 5-0 over Fulham, 5-0 over Wigan, 2-1 over Liverpool and so on...

City's best performance was definitely against Bayern Munich in Allianz-Arena, with a comeback win of 3-2. The best City player would definitely be the talented David Silva. Can't forget Toure or Fernandinho. Demechelis and Kompany in defense notched up 19 winds in 20 games. Superb! Aguero had an injury-prone season, Negredo found it tough to score goals and still, City comes up with 102 goals this season. Fantastic! City didn't falter towards the end. There was no defeat to Sunderland or draw to Crystal Palace. It could have happened with Everton, Crystal, Aston or West Ham. But it didn't. city player crunch matches with confidence, which is what makes champions.

also have to say, city didn't earn it by themselves. they had to rely on the performances of the others, which is something they should rectify next year. chelsea defeated us twice in EPL. for the first one, Torres was just lucky and second one, City were not good. we still defeated them 2-0 in the FA cup. another sore point was the exit from the CL, losing to Barca, home and way. even in that game, Barca was lucky and had the referee's help for the first match and we were really outshone in the away match. so, CL is something we have to work on next season. then again the defeat to Liverpool courtesy of Kompany's mistake. so when Komapny slot the second goal home against West Ham, it was an answer to the Merseyside.

if someone asks me, what was my favourite moment of the season, definitely Suarez crying with his shirt over his head and Gerrard consoling him. really a nikon moment. priceless. it showed that it EPL is no longer the Bruce Grobelaar-Ian Rush-John Barnes era when Liverpool played the worst possible 'dirty' soccer, got help from refrees and the sponsors which made them win 18-19 before Fergie rescued EPL. lots of water has flown under the bridge. alpanu artharaathriyil kudapidikkunnapole, ivideyum undaayirunnu, oh! what a beauty! avasaanam Chelsea-yum Crystal Palace-ooe booty adichondu poyappo, samadhaanam aayallo, alle?

this season it looks like they were closing the gap by just one...all of a sudden they themselves bottled it
If you check the posts here,Man Utd fans themselves were trolling Moyes......And of course it is joy to see Man Utd floundering...After all those things that hypocrite Fergie said about Liverpool all these years, perhaps we owe you some...

Fergie was partially right. Liverpool will not win the title

What Fergie said @ the start of the season was that Liverpool needed atleast 8 more players to CHALLENGE for the title, and @ Xmas he claimed Liverpool won't make top four.....And even bigger he questioned Brendan Rodgers' credibility to manage a club of Liverpool's size, no wonder he chose Moyes for Man Utd.....Its clear now that all the things he said was just bull shit.
And of course one doesn't have to be a scientist to say that Liverpool would not win the PL with that squad @ the start of the season, hell except one or two no one here didn't even give us a chance to break into top 4....but boy didn't we get close...
