Debutant RS Vimal directed Ennu Ninte Moidheen remembering us the golden periods of Classic Malayalam Cinema. The film features Prithviraj Sukumaran as Moidheen and Parvathy as Kanjanamaala, in lead roles. This film produced by Suresh, Ragi and Benoy under the banner of Newton films. They deserves a big big credits, because this film is a big budget one and without their trust in director Vimal, the film couldn’t possible to happen. But their trust in director succeed now.
The film told us the divine realistic love story of Moidheen and Kanjamaala. The film fully engaged with their soulful love from the beginning to the end. Vimal created an extra ordinary screen play to narrates the story. The love of Moidheen and Kanjanamala, their troubles with the problem of intercaste matters, their sorrows and little happiness, all were beautifully narrated in the film. One thing is, No one can watch the movie without a single tears. That much of depth and touching elements are in the film, many goosebumps moments too.
Director Vimal marks his debut as a hia history through Ennu Ninte Moidheen. No more words. Kudos to the frame maker Jomon T John.The cinematography was outstanding and one of the best we ever seen in recent times. So elegant visuals with natural beauties can seen throughout in the film. Such a class visuals and making. Editing was perfectly did by Mahesh Narayan. The Music done by M.Jayachandran and Ramesh Narayan gives their best. The feeling that gets while watching the songs with classy visuals are beyond the descriptions.
The performance of Prithviraj and Paravathy makes us goosebumps in almost every scene they met. The carrier best of Parvathy and yet another golden feather for actor Prithviraj in his carrier. He delivers the ever best he can give as an actor. The screen presence of Prithviraj and Parvathy were mind blowing. The rest cast includes Bala, Tovino, Sai Kumar, Lena, Sudheer Karamana, Sivaji Guruvayoor, Sudheesh, Vyga and indrans etc. Bala played the role Kottattil Sethu, were an important one in the film. He did it superbly. This film will be better comeback for him for sure. Tovino played the role of Perumbadappil Appu, will be a landmark role for the raising star. Sai Kumar played the father role of Moidheen and Lena as in Mother role ( Unnimoidheen Sahib and Paathumma ). Both were powerful and more crucial roles. Lena’s performance in Climax scenes were brilliant. Sai Kumar delivers his acting skills with an amazing performance as a Muslim Congress leader. Sudheer Karamana did his parts well as the communist friend of Moidheen. The main thing is he narrating the story of Moidheen and Kanjanmaala in the film. All the rest characters are superbly executed for making this film more beautiful.
In all manner film will be a classy treatment to the audience. Surely touches our hearts. After you watches the movie Moidheen and Kanjanamala will be with you, as close to your heart.
