I had sky high expectations for this one!,phew!,but sorry to say that gangster is nothing. loads of violence,hollywood style narration & treatment does not provide any entertainment. The climax is the worst part of the movie-total crap!.The just has style with ZERO SUBSTANCE.direction was somewhat ok but the script is useless (cliche don revenge,thats all).Honestly akbar ali khan provides nothing new for mammootty-he just have to walk here and there with a sunglass,be in the rangerover with very less dialogues.On the perfomance side-sekhar menon was good,kunjan was ok & the newbies also done their part nicely.

The film had a decent first half with some mass scenes and a superb introduction of akbar.The animation was also good at the start providing some real hope for the movie.The interval twist was ok.But the second half spoiled the whole film with an utter crap climax(the animation during the climax-tested our patience).Overall Gangster is a big dissapoinment !
