Sapthamashree Thaskaraha: - The best movie of this season, one of the most entertaining heist movies made in this country. Brilliantly written, perfectly executed and exceptionally performed by the ensemble cast. Anil Radhakrishnan Menon has aced it yet again going leagues ahead in the entertainment quotient, while keeping the narrative real and gritty at the same time. The ensemble cast of the 7 thaskaranmaar is the soul of the film. Prithviraj Sukumaran, has turned out to be the most consistent, bankable and brilliant performer we have today. He is just fantastic as the mastermind Krishnanunni. Trust him to be a strong pillar of support for good cinema. Nedumudi Venu Sir proves that when given the right characters, his glorious acting prowess is still intact. Sudheer Karamana, another amazing actor who just wows us with his brilliant timing and killer expressions. Neeraj Madhav will go places after this movie. The young actor just nails every scene and situation he is in. Fantastic casting choice. Salaam Bukhari is perfectly cast and he does very well too. Asif Ali, my dear brother, was super thrilled and happy to see you in this movie. Mindblowing job! Your introduction scene, choreographed by Prithviraj was just too good. Couldn't help but applaud and cheer loudly. Ditto for the pulikali scene. A macho avatar played to perfection. And the man who keeps us laughing non-stop - Chemban Vinod Jose is just another league altogether. His Marty is the most entertaining character among the seven of them and he just makes the humor look so effortless on screen! Hats off chettaa! Sanusha Santhosh has also performed very well. Reenu Mathews lends a graceful presence. And yet another fantastic discovery - Lijo Jose Pellissery as an actor. He was a riot as the priest. And probably after Amen, really liked Joy Mathew Sir as an actor. Mukundan, Irshaad, Flower Battsetseg and everyone else in the supporting cast were also fantastic. Each and every performance was so real, measured and had a lot of detailing too. Same goes for the locations, sets, the entire Trisshur backdrop and lighting patterns as well. The humor is so real and situational and can sometimes crack us completely without ever resorting to buffoonery. Every character gets their fair share of glory. And while remaining in character, the 7 of them bring about a mass appeal as well. Full marks to the writer-director for the intelligent screenplay and making. Jayesh Nair's cinematography perfectly captures the mood of the film. Sushin Shyam's background score is nothing short of epic. Rex Vijayan's songs are also fab. Every element of a smart heist movie is cleverly placed in the script which comes in handy when the movie races to a great finale. ഓണത്തിന് മനസ്സ് നിറഞ്ഞു ആസ്വദിക്കാന്* ഒരു നല്ല ഗംഭീര സിനിമ. എല്ലാ തസ്കര ജേഷ്ടന്*മാര്*ക്കും ഗഡികള്*ക്കും എന്റെ ഹൃദയം നിറഞ്ഞ നന്ദി, ഈ ഉഗ്രന്* സിനിമ സമ്മാനിച്ചതിന്.
