Disappointing result yesterday...Played quite well...good creativity and movement, but no one was there to finish off the chances..defensively solid as well..If Liv can beat Chelsea on tuesday, we can put out all the academy youngsters for the replay. The fact that 4 out of top 6 in PL went out yesterday has suddenly opened up a golden opportunity to go on for Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool. But if we manage to beat Chelsea, Rodgers shud just give up on FA cup.

I didn't say both are shit trophies.compared to the fa cup, the capital one cup isn't tat big in stature. Surely that isn't even debatable.

middlesbrough goalkeeper tomas must have played the game of his life. city played good but couldn't convert. lampard hit woodwork.
out of capital losing 0-2 to newcastle.
epl lost 0-2 to arsenal.
out of fa cup losing 0-2 to middlesbrough.

Many people predicted city's loss.Them training in abudhabi for a week and flying in just the day before.Also middlesbrough is in very good form.
