It has been a rather tough journey for Mammootty for sometime now, on the career front. But things seem to have changed, with Ranjith Sankar’s Varsham getting good collections ever since the release of the film on Nov 6.

Mammootty, who plays a businessman named Venu in the film, had to enact the agonies of a doting father and his performance has been appreciated by everyone.

The actor is currently busy with Salim Ahmad’s Pathemari and Dipu Karunakaran’s Fireman.

There are quite a number of projects featuring the hero in the pipeline and Varsham is all set to give him more energy.
