I know bro.. Nivin vanittu 6 varsham polum ayilla.. in this time period he barely had any roles in 2010-12 until Thattathin marayathu, that showcased his performance
after than he fell down as a star and actor with some weak movies which also dont give him any scope as an actor. Nivin was able gain acceptance through continous hits later on and thus he tried to maintain that by choosing those type of movies that most audience would like to see.
AHB is his first role that challenges him as an actor to the core, 1983 was good and i loved his performance in it. Nivin's plus is he has the appearance and dialogue delivery of a common guy so he can fit into those roles but it is tough for him to switch into roles that make him bigger than a common guy.
so AHB from what I have heard is that its his best perfo till date- prashanth tamil reviewer even praised his delivery for fierce dialogues in the film.
Since nivin achieved such superstardom and satelite much higher than even bigger and older stars, people expect nivin to have acting ability better than them.
Nivin also came with no one to help him or advise him on acting, he is a common man himself trying to achieve success in movies as an actor. He has friends but they are also young and new to cinema. He will only improve with more years of experience and more movies that utilize him as an actor
