2C will collect more in Gulf territories because of huge Malayali population. Non Malayalis will not prefer 2C because they may not be able to understand the jokes which are typical Kerala local.

But in Indian metros like Mumbai and Chennai many non Keralites are watching Charlie with subtitles.

This is just like Bangalore Days and Premam which ran for more than 100 days in some cities outside Kerala.
