After hearing various opinions I went with a mixed expectation on the movie. Different from my expectation it was a delight to watch this movie. It is an unusual theme packaged into a well made entertainer and at the same time dealing with a socially relevant subject.


It is an out and out one man show by Amir unlike 3 Idiots and all where other actors also had lot of space. And you do not see Amir anywhere in the movie. All you see is character PK. From the way he looks, the way he walks, the way he talks it is all character PK. An amazing transformation to character PK. There is a reason why he is called Perfectionist Khan - He tranforms even into the minutest detail of the character. Starting from the looks, to mannerisms to slangs and whatever.


Cannot say much about the film since it will be a spolier. Still it deals with a very relevant subject of business in the name of god. It is probably the most lucrative business in India. Very less investment and maximum return and nobody dares to question you even if you are doing some illegal activities. The film deals with how character PK tries to get his work done with the help of God through this so called cast gods. Amidst that there is lot of hilarious situations which will make us laugh away to glory.


The film actually makes us think why we are doing all these in the name of god, but at the same time does not become preachy. Probably something Sathyan Anthikkad could learn here


Summary - A well packaged entertainer dealing with a very relevant social theme.

An amazing transformation with Amir Khanism not seen anywhere unlike Shahrukh where we can see Shahrukh Khanism in all his characters. That does not mean Shahrukh Khanism is bad, his mannerisms are loved by millions.
