Tanu weds Manu, like many Bollywood movies had an happy ending when Tanu got married to Manu. Fast Forward four years and we got a couple sitting infront of a group of psychiatrists in London, who are unhappy with each other especially Tanu who finds her husband boring and monotonous. The scene ends in a very unlikely note when Manu gets emotional with Tanu's tantrums and ends up in mental hospital cell.

Rest of the story happens in India as Tanu returns back home. Manu also returns back to India as Manu's friend pappi goes to London and get Manu released from Mental Asylum on Tanu's information. But the story really takes off when Manu meets kusum a state level athlete in Delhi who looks like Tanu. He falls in love with her and convinces her uncle for their marriage. Rest of the movie tells whether Manu find his true love in kusum or its just that she looks like Tanu that he fell for her. Even though my previous sentence sounds like the movie is Manu's mental struggle to find true love its not at all true. Its a chain of illogical sequences which moves so fast that its very difficult to think what is going around.

Movie with its all illogical developments is a joyous ride from start to finish. Nicely written dialogues along with top-notch acting from Kangana will take our breath away with its pace and entertainment factor. Dialogues are simple and funny that it tickles our funny bone every other minute. Anand L Rai succeeded in giving us an engaging watch from the word go even though with a clichéd story.

Songs are so rhythmic and fast paced that will stay with us for a long time after coming out of cinema hall.

But the real show stealer here which takes this movie to such an Enjoyable level in Kangana. It looks like she can't do anything wrong. She is in her zone and came up with a towering performance as Tanu and made us believe that Tanu is really twisted and crazy. If tanu was believable, Kusum was adorable, fire branded and girl with a lot of heart. Kangana played kusum with such finesse that we never feel like its Kangana who is playing both the roles. Other actors including Madhavan played second fiddle to Kangana well and made it a treat to watch.

The main problem with Tanu weds Manu was that it couldn't convince me Tanu should get married to Manu. Tanu Weds manu returns came with a tag 'Some times to find true love you need a part 2' but still falls short on convincing me that they should be together. Other than that it a joyous ride from start to finish that you can't miss. So if you are looking forward for 2 hours of pure mindless illogical entertainment that makes you to split with laughter go grab your popcorn and enjoy your weekend with Tanu, Kusum and Manu.
