Keralathil 5% tax kuravano for Malayalam? Can anyone confirm. Facebookil vanna oru comment njan post cheyuva. Sheriyano. Pinne Raman paranju service charge vannal samaram pinvalikkum ennu. But service charge already undallo(See my bolded portion)? Pinne enthina samaram. This is just my doubt. Can anyone answer this?

Govt Tax is different for theatre in Corportaion/Municipality/Village. This again different for Malayalam and Non-Malayalam movies
For Malayalam movies 25% / 20% / 15% respectively for Corportaion/Municipality/Panchayat
For non Malayalam movies 30%/25% / 20% respectively for Corportaion/Municipality/Panchayat
If Rs. 100 is the ticket rate the shares are
Rs.2 for service charge, it will not include in any calculation this amount is for theatres
So Rs.98/- is used for all the calculations
Tax is 25% for Malayalam movie in City corporations – Rs.24.5 is Tax.Balance is Rs.73.50
1st week share : 60+40%
Distribution+Producer – Rs.44.10
Theater share - Rs 31.40 (29.40+2)
2nd week share : 55+45%
Distribution+Producer - Rs.40.43
Theater share - 35.07 (33.07+2)
3rd week share : 50+50% Distributor+Producer– Rs.36.75
Theater share - 38.75 (36.75+2)
