It will get sorted out. Mollywood has gone through bigger challenges and bounced back.
Moreover now every language film industry is facing challenges. Only difference is that problem in Mollywood is slightly different.

You are wrong there. It is a livelyhood for many . And what are the bigger things which you said in the picture? Nothing other than election campaigning.
In Kerala people are against any legal business or industry which makes money.
Politics, liquor , drugs and immoral trafficking are the only activities which flourish in Kerala. I cannot see any 'bigger thing' other than this which has happened in Kerala.
The State Government is now seriously considering allowing night shows with the industry in dissaray at the moment. Official confirmation expected in few hours.
ThePriest planning to release on March 11 if the decision is positive.
.
what is your point? if it is about livelihood, the restriction is only for second shows. so you cannot say the whole cinema fraternity has been put in jeopardy. if it is about legal business, i find it funny that you find cinema production to be a completely legal business. if it is about immoral activities flourishing in kerala, find me a country in the world which is devoid of it.
Filmmaking involves hardwork, sweat and livelyhood of thousands or maybe even lakhs of workers ranging from actors to technicians . What impact is it going to make on covid spread if they introduce second shows because most of the people who have work will be free only by then? There are festivals , political processions and marriage functions now as it used to be there before covid . Wont covid spread through all these? Why this restriction only for movies?
If they want to restrict only movies then they should not allow marriages with more than 50 people. Is anyone following masks and social distancing now?
I agree that immoral activities are there all over the world but the difference is that they are all more business friendly (be it movies, any other industry) than in Kerala .
