They start early morning till late night. For past three years their salary has not been increased.

Also why cant the producers who spend crores on other things bear an additional burden of 4-5 lakhs in a budget of above 8 Crores? Now the returns are very high with most of movies grossing above 15 crores at B.O. Moreover this is not the right time for strike when Mollywood is going great guns.

Dont degrade our movies like that. Our success rate is better than other south indian languages. 20% is a good rate. Just see how many films succeeded in 2015 in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. Very few.

Malayalam films have a good market in Kerala, ROI and overseas. May not be as big as Tamil, Telugu and Hindi but not too small also.
