Plenty of bombs in Kannada, Tamil or Telugu as well. eg. Prabhas last release must've made a bigger loss than all the recent Malayalam flops put together. Pinne Jayasuriya/Tovino flops are nothing new, before the pandemic, during the pandemic, after the pandemic they've had plenty of misses.

I think main issue is during covid, a lot of project got stagnant a lot invt happened and movies wre d diff stages of completion. As a part of professional commitment all r finishing dre works comprising on diff aspects. From investors angle dey r already in deep trouble and cant invest more so lot of deviations might have happened to d entire project
And all of dse movies getting released at same time apart drm dat dre is no major concerns i think

After Covid theaterukarrkku yatharthathil chakara aanu blockbusterukaludeyum industry hitukaludeyum pooramanu RRR, kgf, Bheeshma,vikram along with hit movies like Don, bhool bhulayya 2 ,janagana mana ,Kashmiri files , hridayam its only June and this many hit movies really theater business in india and especially kerala are booming but certain stars in kerala who dont promote there movies well or doing thattikkottu movies are only failing miserably in theatres bring good content and good production valued products properly marketed definitely there is an audience for it.

Yes. For some films that is there. But not all. Because during the third wave there was not a strict lockdown.

That is correct. In fact good entertainers have always succeeded. Irrespective of budget the movies are succeeding. In kerala low budget films like Jo and Jo have minted money along with decently big budget films like Bheeshma and Jana Gana Mana
Other youth actors who do thattikootu movies their career will come to an end. That's all. It is in no way going to affect Mollywood
We have three youth stars now -PR, DQ and FAFA. Maybe even NP if he comes back in his original shape and loses weight. And they are doing well . DQ is doing one Malayalam movie per year which is more than enough. Even other language superstars dont do more than two films a year. So that doesnt mean DQ is not active.
PR is now an asset to Mollywood.
