But in cities like Chennai ella language filmsum varum. So local industry will suffer. This is happening on a much bigger scale in Bangalore because Kannada industry is still does not have that much of audience as Tamil.

The recent examples were films like ‘The Jungle Book’, ‘Captain America: Civil War’, ‘Deadpool’, ‘Airlift’, ‘Premam’, ‘Kali’ etc. which made huge money. A rationalising of releases is required to offer scope for Tamil cinema to survive.
