Last sentence which you said makes sense. But even though he is not a mass actor or a crowd puller like Big M's or DQ he has a good fanbase who would love to watch his films on big screen. Pachu collecting 12 crores at KBO without promotion shows that. So had he promoted the movie this would have easily collected 20 cr at KBO.

Even when you say Fahad is not a crowd puller if Pachu had someone like Asif Ali or say Vineeth Sreenivasan this movie would have not collected even 5 crores at KBO. IMO in Pachu Fahad can be replaced by any decent actor say Asif Ali or even Vineeth Sreenivasan. But the movie would not even have collected 5 crore at KBO.

So his films not being promoted either means two things:- OTT demand is very high that theatrical collection is no more required OR that makers have a confidence that the movie will be a blockbuster even without promotions. Dhooman ethil pedum ennu enikku ariyilla....
