Darwinte Parinamam review - 5th hit for Prithvi? May be || May be not

Watched Darwinte Parinamam from Edapally Vanitha Theatre.
Status 50-60%
Had good hopes on this films due to its promising stills and songs, which gave a feeling that this film will have a good mixture of love, action, comedy, etc.
Anil Anto and his wife who was pregnant is forced to leave their hometown and setlle in Kochi to make a living. Darwin, meanwhile is a small time gunda who plies his trade in Kochi. Due to some unfortunate events, Anil Anto and Darwin meets each other and Darwin is on the lookout to take peace out of Anil Anto's life. How Anil Anto trys to bring his life back to normalcy form the crux of the story.
Prithviraj as Anil Anto was very good with his mannerisms. Chemban Vinod as Darwin was rather okayish. Chandini was a good pair opposite Prithvi and did her role, albeit a small one, neatly. Soubhin , yet again was awesome. This man juz cannot stop making out laugh!!!! Shammi Thilakan and his gang of comedy villains were very good too!! Other minor cast were good as well.
Cinematography by Abinandan Ramanujam was good and BGM by the young debutant was very good too. The film felt a bit streched in each half.
First half was good enough for me but the second half was rather averagish with some scenes that kept the film alive. Overall, Darwinte Parinamam is an average to just above average film.
