Mammootty to speak in Kasargode slang in Puthanpanam
Mammootty is never averse to trying different slangs for his films. And some of his accents have actually had a cult following. His next, Puthenpanam, will apparently have him speaking inKasargode slang
It's reported that the movie, directed by Ranjith, has Mammootty playing a wealthy businessman named Nithyananda Shenoy. The film also has Vishak Nair, Renji Panicker and Ineya in notable roles.
Incidentally, for Ranjith and Mammootty's film Pranchiyettan and the Saint, the actor adopted a Thrissur slang for his character.
