VTPT is a failed attempt.Termed as a retro modern classic,the movie has nothing new to offer.The former half had some freshness in the making,yes it was quite entertaining.But the lacklustre 2nd half & climax spoiled the movie completely.Perfomances are okay,Chackochan did his part well eventhough struggled at times . Krishna Shankar was good,chila comedies okke kidu .Manoj.K.Jayan wad superb while others were okay,Shamili was a complete miscast .

1st half was entertaining,narration was quite good with some refreshing comedies.Above all,Lalettan reference - the theater filled with claps & whistles,ejjathi response - My phone no is 2255 .The pre - interval portions were good and ended on a good interval block.2nd half was disappointing to the core ,with zero content in the story,the director tried hard to keep things moving.The worst part was the Climax - build up okke kandappo nannakum ennu karuthi,but a total dumb ending .

Technically,The movie is superb with class frames,rainy shots okke kidilam aayi eduthitund,Superb Dop.Editing was okay.Music & Bgm was avg,are tu chakkar song big screenil kaanan rasam undayirunnu.Direction by the debutante Rishi Shankar was impressive in the former half,but failed miserably in the later half - Kazhiv Ulla Director aanu,Oru nalla plot okke kittiyal nannayi edukkum .

Overall,VTPT is an avg watch at best !
