Jeethu Joseph to direct a movie written by his wife Linta Jeethu Joseph
Jeethu Joseph is now one of the most popular directors in Kerala. He had become popular here with the success of Memories starred by Prithviraj. But what made him popular all over India was Drishyam starred by Mohanlal, which had made a huge impact all over India as a movie. It had become the biggest ever box office success in the history of Mollywood and after Manichithra Thazhu, it become the Malayalam movie to be remade in 4 Indian languages.
Jeethu Joseph himself had directed the Tamil version of the movie with none other than Kamal Haasan in the lead as well. Along with him, his wife Linta Jeethu Joseph also become popular as she had designed the costumes in her husband’s movies starting from Dileep starrer My Boss and it had got great appreciation from all over.
Now, Linta Jeethu Joseph is all set to become a script writer. She is writing a screenplay and it is in the final stages now. Jeethu Joseph said that he will direct the movie based on her screenplay and they had not decided about the cast of the film.
Jeethu Joseph said that he will bankroll this project as well. His latest movie with Prithviraj named Oozham is running in screens here now. He will have projects with Mammootty, Mohanlal, Dillep etc as well in the future. So the movie written by his wife will not be coming to the shooting floor anytime soon.
