Story revolves around the lives of Thoppil Joppan and his friends. Its a pretty simple story line as you would expect in a family entertainer which focuses on how two ladies (played by Andrea Jeremia and Mamta) influences Joppan's life.


Coming to the performances , Mammootty was really cool as Thoppil Joppan, there were some sequences where he trolls himself which stood out :D Mamta was super cool once again, Andrea was pretty decent. This film was seen as Salim Kumar's comeback after quite long and he was pretty good as well.. Alancier was very good as one of Joppan's close friend . Sohan Seenulal and Pashanam Shaji was also really cool in Joppan's gang.Kaviyoor Ponnama plays Joppans mother and I have always been a fan of her since childhood and she never really disapoints :)


Johny Antony , the director , took the film neatly and this is his fourth film with Mammookka and Thoppil Joppan would be his best film yet with Mammootty <3
Nishad Koya's script was decent filled with lots of one liners that evoked laughter all through the film and had some nice moments as well. Liked thsi one more than his last film Madhuranaranga <3


The visuals and BGM was pretty decent.


Some songs really stood out and they were all much more pleasing than hearing the audio <3
'Poovithalai Njan' was top notch , 'Chil Chinchalamai' was really cool as well with Mamta elevating the song to a different level with her energy <3
The title song, 'Ithanu Kavyanayakan' was received very well by the fans and it was earth shattering atmosphere in the theatre <3 <3 <3


Hopefully more songs will be aired on television soon enough :)


Negatives would be some really unwanted scenes featuring Jude Anthony Joseph,.Another film where he continues to disappoint after Premam :/


Overall the films is pretty good one and surely one film which you can take your family along :)
