"Don't let your past blackmail your present to ruin a beautiful future",Built on this basic premise,Dear Zindagi is a charming piece of cinema.The film has that perfect feel-good elements mixed up with some superbly written dialogues & lively situations,all these factors together makes this a joyful watch.The film boasts of some solid performance from its lead cast,each & every actor displayed their best.SRK is just fabulous,the much subtler & charming actor inside him is exploited in this cinema,being his hardcore fan,it was a treat to watch even his minute nuances,his performance in the climax sequence was just brilliant,love u King Khan.Alia gives her career best performance,she was really cute with her looks & smart with her amazing performance,she just made the film moving.Supporting cast were really good with their performances,every actor was good.

Dear Zindagi is a quality stuff in its technical aspects.Cinematography by Laxman Utekar is outstanding,he made the film visually appealing,the shots in goa were remarkable.Music by Amit Trivedi is good,nothing special to mention abou the songs,still worked big time with the narration.Bgm is superb,got in sync with the movie.Coming to the cinema,Dear Zindagi is comprised of a good former half & an excellent second half.The first half settles the base for the main plot,mainly showing the problems with Kaira in her personal & professional life.SRK makes a brief entry before the half time,he just has 2-3 scenes in the first half.Second half is brilliant,connects a chord with the viewers,and with SRK having a good amount of screen time,i juts loved the second half.Climax is indeed the best part of the movie,SRK just nailed it in those final scenes,smartly taken.

Gauri Shinde is undoubtedly a highly talented & sensible film maker.She knows how to sketch a meaningful & entertaining cinema.The basic plot had all elements which was capable of making this cinema preachy & cliched,but Gauri Shinde's way of handling the subject made the difference.She made the film both realistic & engaging without any commercial elements infused into it.Gauri Shinde yet again proved her mettle as a quality film maker,this time with Dear Zindagi after the lovely English Vinglish.

Overall,Dear Zindagi is a Delightful Watch !
