Beauty and the Beast is a faithful retelling of the classic fairy tale.Emma Watsons's endearing portrayal of Belle is the prime factor which makes this a likable experience.The visual grandeur the film oozes on the screen is simply amazing,it indeed forges this cinema as a visual treat.Emma Watson is doubtlessly a synonym for beauty,it is her earnest performance and splendid screen presence that keeps the proceedings interesting.Luke Evans as Gaston was the showstealer among the supporting cast,he delivers a superb performance.Dan Stevens as the Beast puts up another fabulous performance.

Bill Condon as the director did a highly impressive job.Adapting a classic and making it honest craft is not an easy job,but Bill has done it with utmost ease.This could have easily slipped into a zone of cinemas which relies on its visual beauty,but kudos to the makers for making this a cinema which is good on both cinematic and technical grounds.The musical tracks were superb,but the number of songs were a bit too high and often appeared as a speed breaker.To sum it up,this one is definitely not a classic but offers a good watch and is indeed a honest and genuine attempt.

Overall,Beauty and the Beast is Good !
