Burnley, with 36 league goals this season, are the first team to finish in the top seven when scoring less than one goal per game. The previous lowest ratio was Liverpool?s 42 goals in 42 games when finishing fifth in 1970-71.

7 - CPFC are the first team to avoid relegation from the top-flight despite losing their opening seven league games since Liverpool in 1899-00. Magnificent.

Both Man City and Man United defeated all 19 Premier League clubs they faced this season - the first time more than one team had done so in a single top-flight season.

Spurs finished above Arsenal in consecutive seasons for the first time since doing so in 1981-82 and 1982-83. Spurs also finished as the highest placed London team in the top-flight for the first time since the 1994-95 season, when they finished seventh and above six other London sides.

By all means argue the toss as to whether this City side is better than Arsenal's Invincibles or Jose's Chelsea. But don't put them in the same bracket as United's 08 and 99 sides. They're not yet fit to lace their boots.

Not just yet!! May be in future?????????
Right now, its battle for third place in the rebranded PL era! which arguably City has sealed!

Curtain down for an exciting season its has been.. Many records gave way for new.... Congrats to City for having it won so commandingly.... Though finished fourth, its a great season and improvement over last term with an almost empty bench now... Hopefully the challenge will be at another height from next August with some more addition to the squad..
