Preshnam sherikkum avidde aanu, the makers especially Antony do not have much confidence in the product or it's theatrical run.

They did not have this fear when releasing Lucifer, and will not have this fear when releasing Empuran irrespective of the budget. Priyans recent track record is'nt confidence inspiring.

Marakkar was supposed to be a global/pan-India movie etc.....ee maathiri pressure tactics Keralathinu purathu nadukummooo?

A Lalletan theatrical release is very very important for Malayalam cinema, but at the same time Kerala theatres is his primary market as well. Right now they're burning a lot of bridges trying to recuperate expected losses on Marakkar!

I don't think Antony is afraid of quality of this movie. If it is so he might made arrangements and behind the curtain plays during the first lock down itself becuase he only knew he is carriying another ODIYAN . As I mentioned earlier this all drama is to make maximum hype and shit . Secondly he is a business man and want to sell this with maximum profit eventhough no business man will use the term PROFIT before his customer...but weep on lose due to discount he made . Well , that all can kept aside . But in my opinion both the screen owners and Antony should come in terms on releasing this without zero loss or minimum loss to both .If it end up as a profit then also keep the word and do business. I personally don't want anyone to bare the whole risk and loss . As a viewer I will opt for a screen watch .
( Nb : heard the preview report as one time watch in theatres . Don't know whether it is intended degrading or fact )
