സുരേഷ്കുമാർ ഒരു ഇൻ്റർവ്യൂവിൽ പറഞ്ഞതാണ്.. അത് കളക്ഷൻ 100 കോടി കിട്ടി എന്ന് വെച്ച് പ്രൊഡ്യൂസർ അത്രേം ക്യാഷ് ഉണ്ടാക്കി എന്നു അർത്ഥമില്ല എന്ന്.. അത് ഇവിടെ എല്ലാവർക്കും അറിയാം.. I mean everyone in this forum, share, gross etc.. Lalettan movies made some benchmarks, obviously, But not for viewers from other states, Nivin Pauly just for Premam got a wider audience especially in south india, Prtithviraj had a chance, but he didn't pursued it very well.. But DQ is in a different league now, he has good marketing strategy and networking in between the film community in other markets too..
His line ups shows this..
Malayalam industry should make biggies with Pan India release either through OTTs or Theatres.. Wish we could see a Kerala actor in Hollywood productions like Dhanush..

മലയാളികൾക്ക് നല്ലൊരു ശതമാനം diaspora ഉണ്ട് അതിനെ ശരിക്കും utilize ചെയ്ത ആദ്യ ഫിലിം ആണ് പുലിമുരുഗൻ ദൃശ്യം നഅല്ലൊരു അടിത്തറ സ്ഥാപിച്ച ശേഷം.I agree that Malayalam Cinema started getting wide recognition grom Other States since Drishyam,Bangalore Days & Premam ബട്ട്* ലൂസിഫർ managed to get this acceptance from this diaspora and monetize it. Kurupp is now enjoying its potential & soon Marakkar will also extend it. Hindi & Tamil Cinema ശേഷം മലയാളം ആണ് ഇപ്പോൾ overseas ഇത്ര money generate ചെയ്യുന്നത് & soon it will be on par with Tamil Cinema. We need to churn out big ticket quality products to do it. It's a fact.
