OverTake - If budgeted and Directed well ,may become a Nice Treat ,But not this !!!

Vijay Babu is relocating from Bangalore to Kochi after many years .After the sentoff party in his flat He and his wife (Parvathy) moves to Kochi by Road and they need to pick their daughter from Coimbatore as she is in Boarding .
His best friend said to deviate via a road which is a shortcut and it saves 80 kms .So Vijay Babu picks that shortcut and then the plot is set for a road thriller where a Big truck is following their car and attacking even to kill them.They pretend to escape from he truck hunt .

Why the truck driver attempts to kill them ,who is the truck driver ,and what is his intension !!!
This is OverTake !!!
Below average first half and a descent second half which thrills by parts and ends with a twist which is more or less predictable .

Script is utter foolishness at many parts and the only saver is the Directer manages somehow to quick the boredom.Enough lag and continuety may test the patience.

DOP is good and VFX falls ,may be budget issue .
Music and Bgm is below par.
Vijay Babu and Parvathy leads throughout but nothing to perform well.
Dialogues becomes dramatic and irritating at many parts.
If the movie is shot in a good budget and VFX technicians ,movie will be a saver for Boxoffice ,but not this !!

Actually I didn't saw that movie yet ,but before watching take over I had a read on it's plot in wiki and I observed that many of the scenes were shot in overtake .But a small difference in overtake is that it's a revenge road thriller !!!
A tiny issue barks louder !!

A better script and if jithu Joseph directed and changes in lead cast !¡!Movie will become an extra ordinary one !!!
