Karnataka had a good first day of Rs. 2.80 crores, but couldn’t really get going after that earning only Rs. 5.65 crores in 8 days. Kerala and North India numbers are dismal.

BHEEMLA NAYAK FIRST WEEK BO :

Bheemla Nayak plummeted by 50 per cent on Thursday, as collections dropped to Rs. 3 crores on day seven. The film concluded its first week at Rs. 110 crores approx, earning Rs. 68.50 crores approx share. The first week numbers are good but the drop on Thursday does leave it on a bad note.

The trend of the film is similar to Pawan Kalyan's last year's release Vakeel Saab, which also had a holiday on Tuesday and then held well on Wednesday but faced a big drop on Thursday. That film had the first week of Rs. 105.70 crores, and failed to register any major growth in the second weekend, before closing at Rs. 120 crores approx. Bheemla Nayak is ahead in the first week by around Rs. 4.50 crores, and will be hoping for better trending in the second weekend than that film.

To emerge a winner, the film needs to earn over Rs. 30 crores share in both Nizam and Coastal Andhra, which looked like will be done quite comfortably on Wednesday, but collections dropped to very low levels on Thursday with roughly Rs. 35 lakhs share in both regions. The first week's share in both is Rs. 26 crores and Rs. 26.40 crores respectively and for reaching Rs. 30 crores plus, they will need Rs 2.50-3 crores second weekend very least.

    AP/Nizam:₹97.15 crore
    Karnataka:₹9.1 crore
    Rest: ₹4.5 crore

    India: ₹110.75 crore

    North America: $2.38 Million
    Oceania : $0.25 M
    Gulf : $0.34 M
    Europe & Rest : $0.4M

    Overseas Total : $3.37 Million (₹25.25 crore)

VALIMAI 11 DAYS BO UPDATE :

The film crossed Rs. 100 crores in India on Sunday, making it the second Ajith starrer to go over the century mark after Viswasam. The second-weekend drop from the opening weekend was steep 80 per cent but that was known when the collections dropped to very low levels during the weekdays. The only bright spot was Sunday business, which recorded a big jump of 60 per cent or so, though that wasn’t nearly enough to save it from the crash.

Tamil Nadu was virtually making up all India collections, with the weekend just shy of Rs. 9 crores for a total of 86 crores. Sunday recorded a huge jump in all centres, with numbers more than the combined sum of Friday and Sunday.

The distributor share in the state stands at Rs. 45-46 crores approx in eleven days.

    Domestic BO

    Tamil Nadu: ₹86 crore Aprx
    Karnataka: ₹6 crore
    AP/Nizam: ₹5.9 crore
    Kerala: ₹2.85 crore
North: ₹4 crore (Tam + Hin)

    TOTAL : 104.30 crores

Overseas Total : $4.70 million (Rs. 35.50 crores)

Gangubai Kathiawadi Strong Hold In Second Weekend

Gangubai Kathiawadi had a very good second weekend of 22 crore nett plus as it managed to be collect more than the main new release The Batman over the weekend. The drop in the second weekend is just 40% from the first weekend which is an excellent trend.

This 40% drop is unlikely to last through the week as it a holiday period on the weekdays last week but if it shows a 50% drop at the end of the week that itself would be great. Gangubai Kathiawadi has so far collected 89 crore nett and has a chance of being around the 100 crore nett mark at the end of two weeks.

    Week One - 66,72,00,000

    Friday - 4,75,00,000 apprx
    Saturday - 7,75,00,000 apprx
    Sunday - 9,50,00,000 apprx

    Second Weekend - 22,00,00,000 apprx

    TOTAL - 88.72Cr Nett
