Psychological Thriller - AMUTHA - June 2018 Release
Film Critic turned director P.S. Arjun is making his direction debut with 'Amutha'. The film which has mostly new faces is about a girl named 'Amutha' (Sriya Sree). The film is shot in 20 days and is on post production stage now. Music is composed by Arun Gopan and camera handled by Rajesh Panangat. Apart from Sriya Sree, the casting includes Levin Simon Joseph, Aneesh Shaz, Shivakumar Raju, Ashna Sudheer, Baby Ilanore. The film is produced by Southern Film Factory.
P.S. Arjun who hails from Thalassery, Kerala has been in the Tamil industry since 2006-07. He was a film critic with WebIndia123 and Plumeria Movies. He did part time filmmaking courses and also done critically acclaimed award winning short films. His short films (Zugzwang, Porul, To This Day) has a very distinct story line from the usual ones, and has presence of blood/violence. Amutha is also said to have violence but at the same time is musical.
