Doctor Strange Takes Huge Advance After KGF2

KGF 2 had taken a huge advance when it opened on Thursday and yesterday it was the turn of Doctor Strange - In The Multiverse Of Madness to do the same as it sold around 20k tickets in around 12 hours on very limited screens and the release is four weeks away. The advance only opened in some cities with the major cities of the South which is a huge market for Hollywood not opening.

The event Hollywood films are just at another level when it comes to advance bookings and its pretty much certain they are going to dominate the advance charts. KGF2 had taken an extraordinary advance but this is yet at another level when it comes to the speed of how fast tickets are booked. It can probably be easily said now that Avatar 2 will see carnage at the advance counters in India with every modern day advance record being shattered and even the biggest Hindi films not able to compete. Its on the day where things even up for the Hindi films.

The advance of Doctor Strange will have to slow from here as the release is a few weeks away and plans cant be opened everywhere this early buts it an electric start and as more places open closer to release it will only get better. Before Doctor Strange there are the big Hindi releases to come on Eid but those are pre Eid releases and again will be depending on the audience on the day of release.
