In my opinion he is not extremely talented or gifted which everyone knows . He is very lucky to have been launched by VS and got good films by Puthren. Thallumala would have been a colossal flop if it was NP for sure. That is my opinion. The way he handled fights scenes NPs body is not that flexible. And regarding his market in TN that is a thing of past during Premam time.

what's your grudge with np? how can anyone just declare that an actor becoming fat is definitive proof of arrogance? his selection of movies weren't just carelessness - he just tried to experiment - and most of them actually got critical acclaim - mootjon,kkk,paadavettu, mahaveeryar, thuramugham etc. The issue was that most of them ran into troubles which were not under his control - like thuramugham and padavettu - alongwith a general downturn in cine-going caused by covid and ott influx.

No grudge against any actor . But I have felt that he has got more than he deserved. He is an above average actor with a good comic timing. Thats it.
Not an excellent actor.

Also I strongly disagree with you that he can do movies like Thallumala. Thallumala became a hit because of four factors :- 1) Comedy 2) Action 3) Music 4) Tovino.

NP's kind of films are AHB, LAD etc which do not require that much of action or dance or mass sequences. Premam.Thattathin marayathu during his younger days when he was young and slim

This is a competitive field and you have to have good commercial movies too . Just critical acclaim will not help
