It all depends on how others would accept a fantasy film . Majority of the pan Indian success have been raw action movies or ones like kantara which also brings in a religious angle .

Onnu paranjotte , Mohanlalinte Box office power manasilakthe irikunna oru hardcore hater onnum alla njan . As an actor and a star , I respect Mohanlal. Box office acceptance is based on numerous factors . The name Megastar was for a reason . Chummathe aarum poyi kodukilla. Mammooty as a star went through one of the leanest periods during 2010 to 2020. Main reason , he was not focussed on Box office. And its evident even now. If Mohanlal had acted in Bheeshma and it becoming a hit,he would have focussed on that genre. Thats the difference between Mohanlal and Mammootty. Mammotty is some one who is not cared about the box office numbers. Even during his peaks , his selection of movies have been specific about what he can do as an actor. Just look at Lals next line up. Other than Malaikotta , tell me one movie that is going to focus on Mohanlal the actor. Everything is focussed on his stardom.
