An Anwar Rasheed movie always carry the burden of big expectations. That could be why he does not do films frequently. This movie had a quotient of mystery also to it. The songs or trailers did not give any clue on what kind of movie this is.
Coming to the movie - It is an International Standard movie from Mollywood. The making and performance are top class. This might not be a surprise since it is an Anwar Rasheed movie with Amal Neerad behind DOP.
I am not getting into the story. It is basically a story of how manipulative Religious Beliefs are in our country and how big it is in terms of Business. It is a very predictable story with no twists and turns. Story does not have any ingredients appealing to the masses or families. But what makes this movie different is the way it is presented and Fahad's performance.
Positives
Direction
Fahad
DOP
BGM
Bold Theme
No inclusion of unnecessary situations for mass or family appeal
Negatives
2nd Half could have been made little shorter.
No ingredients to attract masses or families.
Overall Summary - An international standard movie from Mollywood which can proudly be showcased in front of any industry. Watch it in a theatre where you can enjoy the visuals and sound well.
Crowd Response
Response is Mixed. I do not expect this to do wonders in BO thanks to the theme. It might not work well with families and also might not work well with a section of believers.
Rating - 4/5
Tail End: Superb year for Malayalam Industry so far. 4 success in BO so far and this kind of a movie.

Mukkuvan ithrakum international standard ulla aall anennu arijilla
As mentioned, Motham making kidilol kidilam aanu - vere level... 30 minutes after aanu titles thanne kanikkunne, that too asadhya feel Enigma style BGM okke koduthu... Second half script aanu onnu koodi work out cheyyendiyirunnathu... There was no need for Nasriya, if that part is removed and film focused on the core content, it should be the one to remember!!!
