Its a surprise that Lal Jose has cast Mamta Mohandas. He normally casts only newcomers in his films . He has said in an interview that it is easier working with them because established heroines will have date issues.
Either it will be newcomers or he will repeat heroines whom he himself has introduced like Kavya, Samvritha....
Of course a few exceptions like Gopika in Chanthupottu, Nimisha in 41, Namitha Pramod in Vikramadityan and now Mamta.
