I think there is not much point discussing Bheeshmaparvam with Lucifer or Puli Murugan . First of all BP released a bit odd time with exam season in full fledge. Also world wide release has not been very consistent. Like not releasing in UK to releasing late in places like Singapore etc. Even GCC release could have been handled better. And then post covid not sure if we are seeing the full potential of Box office in right numbers. Audience is bit selective and with options like OTT , lots know for sure that this movie would come in OTT within a month or two. Even in overseas , I think the best recent performance was Spider man. Lots of movies are not really making money as like precovid. So I think the best is to wait and watch and see if this movie can become the third Malayalam movie to gross 100 crore WW. If it does , it would be a great achievement . And no need to bring in Bahubali 2. Its that once in a lifetime movie that makes that sort of money. It even broke records among Hindi films.
