Nizhal (2021)

Nizhal is not a difficult movie to sit through, but whether it has that wow or shock factor at the end is in that debatable space. In terms of building the ambiance, the makers have clarity. The absence of an equally complementing script or conflict, and the vagueness and the lack of depth in understanding the central premise make it an underwhelming experience.

Nayattu (2021)

Nayattu from Martin Prakkat is one impressive survival drama with pertinent political statements, but it doesn’t have the obvious nature of most of the political films we see. After carefully detailing the characters, Nayattu manages to give you that shock which works really well as it had successfully made us root for that characters.

Joji (2021)

A must-see film for movie lovers, this Dileesh Pothan masterpiece is as hard-hitting as it is compelling, with Fahadh at his best. Dileesh Pothan's vision is uncompromising and razor sharp. Nothing in his first two features quite prepares us for the precision and vicious wit displayed here.

As a character study, Joji is phenomenal!
