Status: HF with lot of ladies.


We had a pretty good idea on what to expect from the movie. A poetic campus love story. What I felt about this movie is that, this is not a Campus Love story movie. It is a poetic journey of a man named Arun Neelakandan through various phases of his life and different episodes in his life. It is not just a Campus Love Story.


Film is a bit lengthy but it flows like a breeze with superb songs and BGM. In spite of the length you do not feel lag or bored at any time. Because as I told the movie moves on like a breeze with different episodes in the life of Arun Neelakandan. Different episodes inside and outside campus, post campus life etc. Lot of these episodes we can definitely relate to like Campus Ragging, Romance etc. Pranav and Darshana are the show stealers. Pranav is excellent in first half and also in different emotional scenes in 2nd Half. He has nailed the role of man's journey from College starting to a loving father and husband. He is simply superb. Darshana just WOW.


Coming to the problems I felt (Strictly my opinion - Enne kalleriyarudhu ) The movie seriously misses the emotional connect with audience. The emotions being played out in the screen does not get into the viewers in that intensity. Development of Love between the lead pair itself seems artificial and viewers does not get the feel of that relationship between the lead pair. Another episode is the Selva episode which absolutely does not establish any connect with the viewers. Second half post campus episodes are better in this since we do get some feel of it. Another major drawback is the Earth character of the hero fails to evoke any major laughter with the audience. Same with Aju Varghese. None of his comedy has worked in the movie. Most of the time movie just stayed at the level of Feel Good movie is what I felt. Then lot of artificial episodes in the movie - Selva episode, Secret Alley all these. Pranav - Superb performance. Just excellent.
Darshana - Again performance at par with Pranav. Excellent.
Kalyani - Does her role of a cute bubbly girl very well.


Negatives
Lot of unwanted Artificial episodes in the movie.
Lacks the emotional connect.
Earth Character for the hero is a let down.


Overall Summary - A well made poetic journey of man starting from his college to husband to father. Definitely worth a watch from theatres.
