akkare akkare akkare- ippozhum work aakunnundu, plenty of humour scenes. nadodikkattu was slice of life humour. pattanapravesham was more cartoonish and this time they went slightly wrong. they have incorporated every sub genre humour into one movie. combination of slapstick, over the top scenes and slice of life(mukesh raju portions) and that kinda is exhausting and after a while makes it a bit tedious. however the movie has aged well and there are plenty of scenes that still tickle the funny the bones.
lal is magnificent. vann timing and his chemistry with sreeni entha parayka. truely out of the world. lalilekku varumbo switch ittathu polanu sub genre change aavunne, totally in the role. completely cartoonish. what a special actor. lal always had chemistry with all those fantastic actors. with jagathi, jagadeesh, sreeni, mukesh and while doing drama with thilakan, murali, nedumudi. we miss those days.

I think Old jayaram had this ability to experiment all genres of humour...at his prime he was pretty more than LAL .......but he couldn't dive to depth of character like LAL . Thats why sathyan opted jayaram after divorcing lal .
