Basically it is the story of a dysfunctional family which consists of Jagadheesh, Manju Pillai , Jagadheeshs father and their two sons who set out on a trip to Kashi, their adventures, their petty quarrels and beginning to end comic moments . Basil has proven that he can be the next boy next door in Malayalam films after Dileep era. The comedy scenes in the movie are not forced but situational.

Regarding the performances Jagadheesh and Manju Pillai stand out. Basil and the boy enacted his brothers role and the grandfather too have done their parts well.

Postitives:- Begining to end entertainer which makes you laugh a lot. This is a theatre watch only because you need to watch it along with the audiences in the theatres. And beautiful night and ariel visuals and frames of Varanasi should be experienced on big screen itself.

Negatives:- The movie slowed down a bit towards the end but not for a long time when it came back in its full form.

Dont expect this to be another Jaya Jaya which is in a different league but this is definitely worth a watch.. I laughed a lot before this in Madhura Manohara Mohan. Two recent best mother characters - Bindu Panicker in MMM and Manju Pillai in this movie


Box office verdict:- On the way to a family hit.... If it makes a decent collection we can even give this movie a superhit tag because of its budget.
