Prithviraj teams up with successful Basil -Vipin Das combo this time with another family entertainer. If Jaya Jaya was a normal low budget family movie Gurvayoor... is a colourful comedy entertainer which reminds us of early 2000's Dileep movies like Tenkashipattanam, Punjabi House etc.


First half was a fun ride with lots of comic elements specially the combination scenes between Prithvi and Basil. But when it came to second half the film slightly lost its pace and somwhere got confused but again picked up during the climax though it was cliche it was engaging.

Prithvi and Basil scored big time. Heroines Nikhila and Anaswara have nothing to do rather than look beautiful and give support to their male partners. Others in the cast specailly the actors like Jagadheesh, and some actors in Jaya Jaya have given decent performances

The film could have been better but still a one time watch which will not disappoint you

Negatives:- Anaswara looked too young for the role. And second half was not that engaging as first half.

Overall feedback:- A much more colourful and richer version of Dileep films during early 2000's which had all ingredients which a family would like
