I consider Bhramayugam and Rorschach the ultimate films of the last decade. Some may disagree, but their pacing is exactly what the story demands. Ikka masterfully sets the stage in both movies and then delivers performances that leave you breathless. In one word, these two are among my all-time favourites. Tamil and Telugu audiences haven’t seen classics like these in their industries. Even Bhoothakalam nails it—the slow burn build-up and then that climax were pure fire.

I agree Bramayugam is a superb film. Its also one of my favourites. But why it didnt become a big hit even in Kerala ? I believe such authentic attempts must go wider and should achieve national attention. That can only be done if they have pacing to make it engaging.Otherwise our classics will continue to satisfy just a niche intelligent audience in Kerala.Same applies to Rorschach also.
