    Paruthiveeran (Directed by Ameer)
    Ameer's first film Raam not only won international awards for him and hero Jeeva, it was a box office success too.

    Ameer had to wait quite some time to make his next fim, Paruthiveeran. The film has actor Surya's younger brother Karthi debuting as the hero. Paruthiveeran is expected to be another interesting and realistic film like Raam.

    Thaamirabarani (Directed by Hari)
    The most interesting aspect about Thaamirabarani is that the film is being produced by Vijaya Production, started by Nagi Reddy almost six decades ago. Vishal, with only successes behind him, is the hero of the film. The very fact that Nadia Moidu, one of the choosiest actresses ever, agreed to act in the film makes it interesting. She had last acted in M Kumaran s/o Mahalakshmi. Acting along with Nadia is Prabhu.

    Thamiraparani is actually a river running through Tirunelveli in Tamil Nadu and the film has Tirunelveli as its backdrop. The talk is that when Vishal is given a sickle, the film becomes a huge hit. With Vishal carrying a sickle in this film, everyone expects another hit from him.

    T Rajendar, better known as TR, is producer, director, writer, composer, actor, cinematographer and editor of all his films. His film Monisha, En Mona Lisa turned Mumtaz into a sex siren overnight.

    Last but not the least is Mani Ratnam's Guru, releasing on the 12th.

    The film is viewed more as a Hindi film here than Tamil, although Mani Ratnam is releasing the Tamil-dubbed version along with Hindi, and his production house is aggressively marketing the film.

    After the Pongal festival, the cast and crew of Sivaji are leaving for America to shoot a dance sequence and some story sequences. The first half of the movie was screened by Shankar to Rajinikanth recently.

    The cast completed the dubbing for this movie some days ago. Addition of background music, editing and all other works are complete. The team which is going to America will return at the end of this month. The dubbing work for the second part will commence after their return.

    Hai friends....yesterday i saw Aalwaar from Bangalore srinivas theatre....(SG Palya).....

    The movie is watchable...nothing great in it...the story is old wine in new bottle....ajith has done his role brilliantly....and once again asin proved that she is good in comedy....Lal in his villian role is terrific....
    The movie has some shades of anniyan...where he takes the revenge...he dress up with some of hindu gods..like krishna,sri raaman and narasimham...

    Total 5 songs are there out of which two songs are good...one devotional song is the highlight of the film....as said in sify review....its true..when asin comes to screen...she dreams a song....that is unsahikable...and the comedy which never matches with the script....on the whole a watchable movie with some good action sequence's...this film wont makes bore....
