Many “Marriages” of Meera!

Once again Tamil newspapers have reported “yet another marriage” of Meera Jasmine! This time the news is that she has married Rajesh, a Telugu businessman from Hyderabad! Ever since her entry into movies through Suthradharan, a Malayalam film the actress has been involved in various link-up with all sorts of guys.
First it was her ex-boy friend from Thiruvalla, her home town who threatened to expose their “love story” after she became an actress. Soon it was forgotten, as she got deeply involved with her mentor, and the man who “discovered” her, writer and director Lohitadas. Lohi as he is popularly known was at that time the best script writer in Malayalam, but his Meera obsession ruined him!

After Lohi made an unsuccessful attempt to boost her career in Tamil films through Kastoorimaan, she forgot him! Poor Lohi, he was left high and dry to fend for himself, and is yet to direct another film! During those days, Meera was also said to have “married” Aryadan Shaukat, son of a former Congress Minister, and producer of her award winning Padom Onnu Oru Vilapam, a Malayalam film for which she bagged the national Award. There were rumours that Shukat had used his political influence to get Meera the award.

Then Pritviraj walked into her life, and their romance was widely reported in the Kerala film magazines. There were reports that Pritviraj married Meera in a hush- hush wedding in Ernakulam. Later the romance petered out after Pritvi films bombed one after the other in Malayalam, while Meera was a top heroine in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.

Meanwhile she was reported to be in love with an upcoming Telugu actor. All that was forgotten, when she met S.J Suryah during the making of Thirumahan, which led to further controversies. The director of the film bitterly complained that the story he had originally chosen was changed by Suryah “to give importance to Meera’s role”. There were also stories making the rounds that Meera married Suryah, both Christians at Vellankani church! However after the film bombed, Meera asked- “Suryah, who?”

Now the latest guy in her life is this “Andhra businessman Rajesh” and according to Tamil newspaper reports “they have got married in Tirupati”! There is no official confirmation or denial, so far from Meera.

Its all seems to be gossip except the one with Prithvi
