Harris's soft soothing melody is a tribute to his friend Jeeva and all the six songs are beautifully picturised keeping the Jeeva legacy alive. Hats off to Harris, even the background score enriches the movie.

A fight has broken out between Prakash Raj and his one time close associate director Sabapathy over the story rights of Maa.
On Sunday morning they were at Tamil Film Producers Council, trying to sort out the issue before the 'pooja' of the film which is to be held on Monday, September 1.
Sabapathy had directed Prakash's Naam and later films like Punnakai Poove, and is now doing Aa Aa Eee. He was a regular at Duet Movies office and used to sit with Prakash during story discussions.
At one point, after his little son passed away due to freak accident, Prakash narrated a beautiful story, which he wanted to make into a film. Later he got busy as he was caught up with his production, and the story was put on the backburner.
On Friday (August 29), he saw the pooja invite of Sabapathy directed MaaVellithirai where he steals Pritvi’s script and becomes a superstar. and he realized after going through the illustrated invite that it was his story! It looks straight out of Prakash Raj’s own
The film produced by comedy actor R.Krishnamoorthy has Srikanth, Pritviraj and Bhumika with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The official 'pooja' launch is on Sep 1.
Prakash saw red and immediately called up Pritviraj and checked with him. Pritvi said it was a carbon copy of what Prakash had narrated to him months back, but he thought Sabha had got Prakash's approval!
Meanwhile heated discussion is going on at the moment at producer’s council over the story rights of Maa between Prakash and Sabha. Pritviraj has promised Prakash he will not do the film if Prakash does not give the go ahead. So will tomorrows 'pooja' be held?
