'Rajamanikkam' goes to Tamil



Thanks to the success of the 'CBI Diary Kurippu' series in Tamil, Mammooty's films enjoy a good run at the box office in Tamilnadu. The fact that he had also starred in a few direct films in Tamil has helped too.

Now, his biggest blockbuster hit 'Rajamanikkam' is getting dubbed and released in Tamil as 'Maatukaara Velan'. There were big plans to remake the film in Tamil with Sharat Kumar in the lead. But it looks as if they have decided to simply dub and release it in the language.



The specialty of this film is that Mammooty is going to dub himself for the Tamil version. This time too he is going to use a peculiar accent to make the character special. It isn't often that the heroes themselves come forward to dub for their roles when the films are re-released in other languages.
