Shaad Ali is a promising film-maker. I think among the present crop of young film-makers, he is the one with the most up-to-date knowledge of international films and film-making techniques. Then of course, Musaffar Ali's son, assisted Mani Ratnam in Dil Se, Raavan & Guru. the three movies he did are favs of mine. though 'Saathiya' is a remake, i like it more than 'Alaipaayuthey'. loved B&B, JBJ a lot. the poor guy's personal life hit him hard. hope 'Kill Dill' is a bouncer.

felt the tamil version of Raavan was better than the Hindi. for other Ratnam remake movies, felt 'Saathiya' better than 'Alaipaayuthey' and 'Yuva' better than 'Aayutha Ezhuthu'.
