The saying “All that glitters is not gold” holds true for the film, which is exquisite on the surface but hollow inside. One does not expect a story filled with twists and turns in a rom-com but MPB is weak in terms of both characterisation as well as conflict and meanders without any direction, once the initial dose of freshness wears out. Ayushman is effortless in lighter sequences and the actor who plays the role of Parineeti’s father was impressive. Parineeti meanwhile struggles with a weakly written character and has to wait till the climax for her best moment on screen after a hiatus. Better sit at home and listen to its soundtrack by Sachin-Jigar, which includes some gems especially the title song sung by Sonu Nigam.

she should stop doing favors, or should change her manager..she is very talented but the type of movies she is doing all craps..
