    Neil’s strip tease
    IndiaGlitz [Friday, June 12, 2009]

His film Jail has been amidst controversies for long now. But Neil Nitin Mukesh who is in Macau for the first look of his film isn’t ruffled at all. Though the television promos of his film Jail have been taken off air by censors, the actor thinks that the omission of his nude scenes doesn’t take away from the essence of the film.
It’s Neil’s first film with Madhur Bhandarkar and he certainly seems to have liked working the realistic filmmaker a lot and is all praises for him. While Neil thinks that the scene was shot aesthetically and added to the narration of the film, it isn’t the only highlight of the film. When quizzed as to how difficult was it portray his character in Jail, pat comes the answer from the actor,” It wasn’t very hard. I just stripped!”
For all those Neil fans, Aa Dekhe Zaraa may have been a disappointment, but the dude is ensuring that his next film doesn’t get a dud opening

    All’s well in Hrithik’s paradise
    IndiaGlitz [Friday, June 12, 2009]

There have been constant speculations about Hrithik Roshan and his wife Suzanne’s marriage. And the actor’s growing friendship with Kites co-star Barbara Mori further added the fuel to these speculations. However looks like all’s well in Hrithik’s paradise.
The couple who were absconding from the social circles and media glare finally did make a public appearance at the launch of Country Vivaah by Country Club group in Mumbai. And from the looks of it, the parents of two kids looked very much in love. They whispered to each other and even echoed each others minds, thoughts and words.
Hrithik’s recent appearance along with Barbara Mori at the Cannes Film Festival sans his wife had ignited many questions about his state of affairs back home. While Hrithik was there to promote his film Kites at the Cannes, some sections of the media reported that there was a rift between the father son duo on Suzanne. And much before that Hrithik’s absence from the Filmfare awards had ignited rumours that the couple’s marriage was on the rocks.
However its good to finally see the family man Hrithik promote family stuff, never mind his onscreen lip locks with the Mori chic.

Shahid and Natalie Portman voted sexiest vegans
    IANS | Monday, 15 June , 2009

Being a vegan can have its advantages, just recently actor Shahid Kapur has been voted the Sexiest Vegetarian in Asia, in the poll conducted by PETA. The poll was conducted by PETA in their Asia Pacific portal and the battle for the top slot carried on for a month. The final results were announced on 10 June, 2009. Shahid shares this honour with Hollywood star Natalie Portman, who was awarded the sexiest vegetarian in the USA region.
"It feels great to be voted the Sexiest Vegetarian in Asia. I have always supported the cause of being a vegetarian and it's nice to be felicitated for something so close to my heart. Being voted as sexy is a matter of perception but being vegetarian is a lifestyle change and something that comes from a sense of responsibility. This poll win also goes to break the myth that fitness cannot be achieved by eating vegetarian food," said Kapur.

Sanjay Dutt reluctantly says no to IIFA
    IndiaFM | Monday, 15 June , 2009

If the large-hearted Sanjay Dutt had his way he wouldn't say no to any of his friends.
But then it hasn't been easy managing his schedules in recent times. And for the sake of getting his schedules getting back on the right track Dutt has to do the unthinkable, and that includes turning down his dear friends, and an invitation to be part of an event being held in Macau right now.
Says a source from Goa where Dutt is currently shooting for Rohit Shetty's All The Best: "A prominent representative Andre Timmins from Wizcraft in Macau came twice personally to Goa to invite Sanju. He was in two minds only because the Bachchans are such a prominent part of the event. "
Finally Dutt declined with a heavy heart.
Adds the source, "He couldn't allow producer Ajay Devgan to suffer any more. For two months Ajay waited patiently with his lavish set in Goa for Sanju to finish campaigning for the Samajwadi party. Now Sanju's conscience wouldn't allow him a day's delay. He stayed back in Goa to shoot and allowed his leading lady Bipasha Basu to attend the event."

SRK gears up for daring in Don 2
    Bollywood-stars.net,06.16.2009

Director Farhan Akhtar and producer Ritesh Sidhwani have no two thoughts that their sequel ‘Don 2’ will be a grand and extraordinary flick in terms of action, locales and grandeur. The film will be shot in Dublin where no Indian film has been shot till date. Though there is no double role for SRK this time, he will be performing daring and breathtaking stunts this time. But for this, his shoulder surgery could pose a problem. So, SRK has given his dates in 2009 for Karan Johar’s ‘My Name Is Khan’ which does not require much physical stamina. He has decided to start the shoot for ‘Don 2’ in May 2010 in Ireland and Berlin. Contrary to the rumors Priyanka Chopra is very much there in the sequel.

Producer Ritesh Sidhwani confirms this saying, “We’re very much going ahead with the original cast Shah Rukh, Priyanka, Boman Irani, Arjun Rampal and Om Puri. Only those who died in the original won’t return, obviously.”

He adds, “We’re shooting Don 2 in Dublin. No Indian film has been shot there. We want to make sure that the sequel goes ahead of the first film. While the first part was a remake the sequel is an original script and would be much tougher to film for Shah Rukh and Farhan.”

Mohit Suri to make a film on Racism
    IndiaGlitz [Wednesday, June 17, 2009]

Trust Bollywood to make a film on any sensational issue. If Ram Gopal Verma had to take flak for his visit to Taj post the 26/11. We wonder how people would react to Mohit Suri’s plans of making a Bollywood flick on the recent racial attacks in Australia.

While many celebs from tinsel town have condemned the racial acts meted out to Indians in Australia, Mohit decided to go ahead and make a film on the real life instances. Big B may have turned down his felicitation by the Australian government, Aamir Khan has lashed out at the acts of racism, but real life tragedies make great movie material, atleast for Mohit Suri.

Well Mohit’s intentions may be good, but we still think that the wounds of these racial attacks are too fresh to pen it into a script and bring more pain through a film on the subject.
