Ferrari Ki Sawaari to release in the middle of IPL 2012

Ferrari Ki Sawaari, the latest film from Vinod Chopra Productions with Sharman Joshi as the lead actor has blocked its release date. 60% of the film has been complete and the makers are taking a bold step by releasing the film on 27th April 2012, right in the middle of the IPL cricket matches.

Ferrari Ki Sawaari marks the next big release from Vinod Chopra Productions after the blockbusters 3 Idiots.

The director of the film, Rajesh Mapuskar, has shot most scenes on real locations, amidst busy roads and live audience.

Both Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra for sometime had put all their projects on the backburner, and religiously worked on the pre - production of the film. Rajkumar Hirani has even written the dialogues of the film.

Director Rajesh Mapuskar confirms, "Yes, we are releasing Ferrari Ki Sawaari in the midst of IPL. The film is one of the most awaited films of the year and we have decided on 27th April, 2012 to be the release date for us."

Ferrari Ki Sawaari is an entertaining, funny and heart warming film about a young father's endeavour to fulfill the dream of his son.

Abhishek Bachchan injured again

Abhishek Bachchan has injured himself yet again. After receiving six stitches above his right eye earlier this month due to an accident while performing a stunt on the sets of Bol Bachchan in Jaipur, he has now injured the ring finger on his left hand. He has had a hairline fracture on his finger.

This is his second injury in a span of less than 2 weeks and that too on the sets of the same film. The story goes that Abhishek was returning to his hotel room after shooting for the Rohit Shetty film when the crew playing cricket, hit a ball in his direction and trying to prevent his face from getting hit, he hurt his finger.

Junior Bachchan tweeted, "And yes yes, you heard right. I fractured my finger. It's what I'dike to call a sympathy wound. Didn't want my dad to feel lonely with his fractured rib so thought I give him some company!!!

"

Posting a picture of his injured fingure Abhishek tweeted "My latest fashion accessory! What do you guys think? Potential to start my own accessory line?"

Big B, who suffered a hairline fracture on his rib on the sets of Department recently, posted on his blog, "My hairline fracture on rib has a companion - Mr. Abhishek Bachchan. He has had a hairline fracture on his finger on shoot in Jaipur for 'BolBachchan'. Was on his way to the Hotel after pack up and the crew playing cricket hit a ball in his direction, which he tried to prevent from hitting his face and damaged his finger. Its got a fracture and he is in a splint and bandage, but operational !!"

Check Out: Anjana Sukhani and Big B on the sets of Department

Anjana Sukhani who was last seen in Allah Ke Banday, is now shooting for RGV's Department. The pretty lass got to shoot a song and dance sequence with none other than Big B.

Senior Bachchan looks stylish in a white kurta with a red scarf and aviators while, Anjana sports a completely traditional look in a heavily embellished red sari, nose ring, gajras et al.

There were talks that her role was earlier offered to Kangna Ranaut, but Anjana who did an item number in Ram Gopal Varma's controversial Telegu film Bezwada Rowdylu, impressed him with her performance in the song and bagged this role in Department. Anjana plays Rana Daggubati's wife in the film.

Anjana posted on the Facebook page, "Successfully completed the shot for the special song and dance sequence from my forthcoming film Department along with my fabulous co-stars - iconic Amitabh Bachchan, polite Sanjay Dutt, naughty Lakshmi Manchu, handsome Rana Daggubati and most importantly direction by the captain of the ship, the very talented Ram Gopal Varma."

Department is the story about three cops and the way they deal with a city when it encounters extra-constitutional actions.
