Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor has emerged as the sexiest Asian woman in the world, according to a survey.

Eastern Eye, a weekly, conducted a survey through social networking sites like Twitter and Kareena came out on top, edging out last year's winner Katrina Kaif.

Katrina, who had won the title for the last three years by a large margin, slipped into second place.

Eastern Eye showbiz editor Asjad Nazir said, "This battle between the two beauties is a sign of things to come in Bollywood in the next few years. Although the list contained pop stars, TV personalities, models and film stars from around the world, the voting quite comprehensively showed that Kareena and Katrina have put a distance between themselves and the rest of the contenders in terms of popularity."

Hrithik Roshan's wife Sussanne received a massive number of votes and was one of the highest new entries at number 16. Other notable stars in the list included Priyanka Chopra (3), and Bipasha Basu (4), who both slipped down one place each. Freida Pinto came 5th, followed by Deepika Padukone (7).

New entries included Jacqueline Fernandez (12), Nargis Fakhri (23) and Sonakshi Sinha (3. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan came 6th and Sonam Kapoor 9th. Lara Dutta stood at number 15 and Malaika Arora Khan at 19.

Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Khan are one of the most stable couples in Bollywood. Married for over twenty years with two children, their marriage has always been impenetrable to rumors.

Which is why the latest piece of gossip doing the rounds in B'town is so shocking. Sources in the know are claiming that Shahrukh is having a steamy affair with Don 2 co-star Priyanka Chopra.

The buzz is that Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra have been seeing each other for the past six months, with SRK reportedly visiting her at her home at all hours and doting on her in somewhat inappropriate ways during interviews. Gauri Khan was apparently so unnerved by the relationship between her husband and his sexy young co-star that she fought publicly with Shahrukh at a private party at their home when she discovered that Shahrukh had invited Priyanka.

Who had Gauri's back during this argument? None other than another woman all too familiar with what Priyanka Chopra can do to a marriage--Twinkle Khanna. Priyanka had a torrid history with Twinkle's husband Akshay Kumar, so Twinkle was quick to warn Gauri of the danger.

So is it true? Like any good rumor this one is based entirely on he-said, she-said tidbits. Priyanka is single and has nothing to lose by having an affair with the king of Bollywood. She's certainly going out of her way to make big changes in her life these days--a record deal, breast implants, a big film coming out. Why not use an affair with Shahrukh Khan to keep her name in the spotlight a bit longer?

Randeep to take tips from Sehwag for 'Heroine' role?




For his role of the cricketer in Madhur Bhandarkar's "Heroine", Randeep Hooda has decided to take guidance and tips from cricketer Virender Sehwag to make his character convincing.
"That's right!" admits Randeep. "I've asked Virender to give me one of his bats which I'd be using in 'Heroine'. He has kindly agreed to do."
"I've to tell you. I'm very excited about this role because like every Indian boy, I played cricket in school and college. Then when Sehwag became national champ, Haryana's chest swelled with pride. Now by playing a cricketer, I feel I am fulfilling a dream that Sehwag has already fulfilled for us."
On Thursday, Randeep and his acting mentor Naseeruddin Shah trooped down to the Wankhede Stadium to watch Sehwag play in the India-West Indies Test match.
After the match, Randeep spent invaluable time studying his cricketing idol.
"It was an awesome moment, my acting mentor Naseer besides me and my cricket idol on the field...I've always felt a deep affinity to Virender Sehwag. We're both Jats from Haryana. And we're both self-made, I in my own humble way, he, of course, on a much larger scale. Just watching him on the field is so inspiring."
"Virender is not just a great batsman, he's an entertainer on the field. I firmly believe whether you're an actor or cricketer, you've to entertain people in your field. I think Virender does that very well," he said.
Randeep not only admits Sehwag would be the role model for his performance, he would also be using Virender's bat!!
